SCCA National Championship Runoffs

Update 5, (October 5, 2024)

There is a Mazda Corral outside of Turn 13, behind the Registration building. This is where many of your fellow enthusiasts will park
Our vehicle display is near the large wooden tower structure inside the track between Turn 14 and Turn 5 – Coming from the Mazda Corral, you’ll go through the tunnel and find us on the left Agenda:

  • Main Gate opens at 7:00 am
  • National Anthem plays at 8:00
  • First race of the day begins at 8:15
  • Assemble at the Holiday Mazda Display between 10 and 10:20

    • 10:30 We will walk to the Mazda Motorsports trailer
  • Mazda North America representatives will lead a discussion of the SCCA National Championship Runoffs and Mazda Motorsports
  • They will have some give-aways for our group

    • 11:30 -12:30 Enthusiast Appreciation lunch at the Holiday Mazda Display
  • Catered by Parker John’s BBQ
  • Compliments of Holiday Mazda

    • 1:00 – 2:00 Spec MX5 Race
  • Possible meet-and-greet with Spec MX5 driver(s) afterward
  • Racing goes until about 5:45 and you’re free to enjoy Road America at your leisure

Hello again BMC,

As mentioned in yesterday's update, Holiday Motors has extended a formal invitation to BMC members to attend the SCCA Runoffs at Road America on Saturday, October 5th. Clicking the link below will send you to a sign-up page on Holiday's website to sign up for the Saturday admission tickets. You will still have to email Mark Mrozek to be sign up for the BMC event activities (breakfast, caravan to RA, etc). Read on:

Update 2, (September 20, 2024)

Hello BMC,

We are excited to announce that Holiday Mazda will be hosting an event at the 2024 SCCA Runoffs at Road America on Saturday, Oct 5th, and including BMC & RX Club of WI members

Although we are still awaiting final details, here's the high level plans:

  • The Holiday Mazda invite will include entrance tickets for the event for all BMC/RX Club members and a Guest!
  • Lunch will also be provided by Holiday Mazda!
  • Holiday Mazda will have a Mazda car corral set up in the traditional spot near turn 13: Plan to showcase your ride!
  • The SpecMX race is @ 1PM Saturday!
  • Event plans include a Mazda driver meet-and-greet as well as interaction with representatives from Mazda Motorsports!
  • We intend to coordinate a traditional BMC breakfast meet-up the morning for the event as well!
We expect a formal invite email from Holiday Mazda soon, but just wanted to get this out to everyone so they can plan to participate in this amazing offer!

Update 1, ( December 3, 2023)
The event would be breakfast at Alma's in Allentown and then a drive up to the track. The last time the runoffs were at RA we watched over 70 Miatas racing on track at the same time. Fun Stuff. More event information will be announced at a later date.
