Revisiting Bill Drive

Overview:
We are doing the basic Bill 3 with a few modifications due to bridges out and other road conditions. We start in DeForest and drive through and around many small towns, stop for lunch, taste wines at Botham Vineyards and end with dinner in Mt. Horeb, the troll homeland.

Although we had to move our starting point, we stayed as true to the Bill 3 drive as we could, making accommodations for the 25 years that has passed since the first one.

Specifics:
We will meet at Kwik Trip #1093, 4665 Delmore Road, DeForest, WI 53532 at 10 AM or before. Our Drivers’ Meeting is at 10:15 and we will leave promptly at 10:30 AM. We will have a brief pit stop in Black Earth, then on to lunch and/or ice cream at Culvers in Cross Plains. From there we head to Barneveld’s Botham Winery for a tasting ($5 for 3 tastes; $10 for 8) and then cruise to Mt. Horeb for dinner. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, July 20th!
