Update #2 (May 2, 2022)
With our wonderful Wisconsin spring weather I recommend bringing extra warm clothes along with lawn chairs and an umbrella. Also, race cars can get very loud so having ear
protection is recommended.
Come Come join us on Saturday morning at Alma's Cafe 751 Church St just West of Hwy 41off of HWY. 33 in Allentown, WI.
for breakfast before we start our journey to Road America for the SVRA racing event at Road America. We will meet at
8:00 am and after a hardy breakfast we will head up to the track for a day of great vintage sports car racing including the
"Heritage Race" that features 1990 through 1993 Mazda Miatas.
Not going to meet us for breakfast? When we get to the track we will be setting up left of turn 6. I will
have the club banner setup so we will be easier to find. We are also planning on having a cookout for lunch
and some of us are planning on signing up at the Road America office for the noon guided track tour.
The track tour is a guided (Behind a pace car with no passing allowed) two to three lap tour of the track where
you will get the same view as the race car drivers see only at a leisurely pace. To get tickets to this event go to
roadamerica.com and follow the links to the SVRA festival.
Per Road America all veterans with ID get free admission to the race.
Hope to see you there.
