Buckle up and get ready for a fun day as your hosts Terry and Henry take you on a tour of the Coulee region of western Wisconsin. We’ll be going through La Crosse,
Trempealeau, and Buffalo counties.
We'll meet off Hwy I90 at exit 5 and Hwy 16, at the east end of the Woodmen’s Food Market parking lot.
Lunch will be in Fountain City, you have options of places to eat. My favorite is the Monarch Public House, they have authentic Irish food,the cook is from
Ireland and they have some nice taps. Hamburgers are big enough for 2 people. The Golden Frog is another option. Leaving Fountain City, we’ll head east and
hit some more twists, stopping at Elmaro Vineyards before heading to our final destination, the Fox Hollow Golf Course. We can order individually off the menu. For those who like their water
flavored with barley, yeast, and hops there’s a great tap list.
Arrangements have been made for 15 rooms at Quality Inn, (608) 781-1400 (phone) located at 1830 Rose Street, La Crosse, for Friday and Saturday night. Mention that
you're with the Badgerland Miata Club to receive the rate of $74.00 plus tax. The rooms will be held until the June 19th.
The ride will start at Woodmen’s parking lot at the east end with driver’s meeting at 9:00 am.
