Update #1 (August 25, 2020))
The event will start from the Home Depot parking lot in Wisconsin Dells, exit 89 off the I90/I94, then turning left south on HWY 23, at the second stop light turning left
onto Commence Street and left into parking lot, continue through the Walmart parking lot to the end of the parking lot by Home Depot.
The event will have a limit of TEN cars, or 20 people; but two events are scheduled so we can take twenty cars, or 40 people total. The limit is not because of COVID but
because of the limited seating at the stops.
Starting for meet and greet at 11:00 am in the parking lot (there are gas stations and eateries on Hwy 23 N to the right when coming off I90/I94 if those are needed) then at 11:15 am
we will have the drivers meeting, leaving at 11:30 am for the drive. We will be traveling the curves, ridges, corners, hills, and valleys of the non-glatiated region.
LUNCH at 1:15 pm will be at River’s End, 314 Main St, Ontario, WI 608-337-4803.
There will be a break on the second leg at the Hillsboro Brewing Company, 206 E. Madison Street, Hillsboro, WI 608-489-7486
for a beverage and restroom.
We will end up at River’s Edge Pub and Grill, 30 CTY RD A, Wisconsin Dells, Wi 608-253-6600 around 4:30ish for dinner.
Weather accommodating, we will do outdoor seating at all locations.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN personal protection equipment as they are required in several locations.
Please keep in mind, these are tentative plans, as we don’t know what will happen with closures, etc. that far out in time.
We hope the weather and the trees will provide us with a fantastic drive!
